Well, I have started the new year off with scrapbooking on the top of my “to do” list! Physically, I can’t go back and capture the many years that have already passed, so this is my “official” starting point. Hopefully, my family will cherish the memories that I leave behind with these creative endeavors of love.
If you are viewing these layouts, hopefully it will encourage you to not wait as long as I did to get started documenting your precious memories.
This page was inspired by one that I saw that nicholejanette at SCS had. I changed it up a bit and added the second page with the “2010 border.”
You can find a downloadable project sheet that shows you how I created the border with the tree and presents in our Resources – Project Sheets section, entitled Christmas Scrapbook Layout Border. The project sheet also denotes the materials used. It is amazing what you can do with punches and scrap pieces of cardstock. I rarely throw away card stock scraps!
I had lots of photos to choose from, but narrowed it down to 11 of them. That was hard to do, but I felt that two scrapbook layouts were enough to highlight our 2010 Christmas memories.
How do you choose which and how many photos you will use on a layout? We would love to hear from you!
Happy Stamping
