Today is the final day of the Tropical Party cards that Brenda will be demonstrating next month at the nursing home.  This is another simple one that doesn’t need a project sheet to complete.  However, if you have any questions, just let me know.

As far as stepping this one up from the version the ladies and gent (yes, we have one guy too

) at the nursing home will be creating, I did a few minor things.  First, I added a row of stitching at the top of the Rose Red matte.  Then I popped up the main image with Dimensionals.  After all, if you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time, you know that I don’t make flat cards!  Then, after assembly was complete, I used Crystal Effects on the stamped coconut images and their straws and umbrellas!  How cute is that?
This card is similar to one I’ve seen at some point online.  I didn’t save the image when I saw it, but I know I thought it was really cute and influenced this card.  So if it was yours – thank you very much for the inspiration.  Let me know and I’ll give proper credit.
Hope your weekend has been nothing short of fabulous!  I’m making my way back home from Brenda’s today so if you have any questions, I will be home later to answer them.
