Now that everyone around here is back in school, it feels like Summer is over

However, with a heat index today of 107 degrees, I can tell you that I am ready for the cooler weather to get here.  But, in honor of all the kiddies heading back to school, I decided to play with the too-cute stamp set, Greeting Card Kids by Stampin’ Up!.  I absolutely LOVE this set.  You can color these images so many different ways for different looks – and not to mention, their little clothes can also be paper pieced!  I’m sure I’ll be trying that one in the future!
For this card, I used the papers from the Love Letters designer series paper set.  When I first saw the new
2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog, this paper pack didn’t strike my fancy.  However, it grew on me and I decided to order it.  I am so glad I did – it looks so much better than it does in the book.  The prints are fun and I can see them being used for all sorts of different themes.
For the most part, my cards are the same.  The only difference is that on two of them, I used the small polka dot paper in the corners.  I can’t decide which one I like best..LOL.
Anyway – hope you like them.  Happy Monday everyone!
