Say that 5 times really fast – Unlikely Christmas Card Color Combo, Unlikely Christmas Card Color Combo, Unlikely Christmas Card Color Combo, Unlikely Christmas Card Color Combo, Unlikely Christmas Card Color Combo!

Each year, you see crafters break out of the norm and come up with some different color combos for Christmas.  I think this card fits that bill however, I love the way it turned out.  It’s super simple but still breathtaking.   This one could easily be mass produced for Christmas cards.
Although it’s hard to see in the photos, I used the new Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing folder which is in the
2010-2011 Holiday Mini Catalog.  It gives it a little bit of subtle texture and reinforces the snowflake theme.  You can see a close-up of that in the photo below.
My Crumb Cake card base looked a little plain so I stamped the smallest snowflake stamp in Whisper White Craft Ink.  It’s subtle but adds that extra something that it needed.
I’m going to be using this card in the
Christmas Greetings, Non Traditional Colors Card Swap that’s going on here at CARDScraps.  You have plenty of time to sign up, so we’d love to see you participate.
Hope you have a fabulous Tuesday!
Happy Stamping
