It’s always a little easier during the hectic holiday season if you’re at least a little bit organized.  So when I saw a holiday planner on another blog, I knew I had to make one of my very own.
This was made from a standard 2-pocket school folder that I found on clearance at my local big box store after all of the back-to-school sales.  I cut the top of the folder off to make it a little bit shorter.  The finished size is 4-3/4″ x 10″ (closed).
Both sides of the folder were scored in half vertically and the center two pages were stuck together on the backside with
Sticky Strip.  This makes it so that you have 4 pockets instead of just 2.
The whole thing is held closed using the
Real Red 3/4″ Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon which is on clearance right now for only $1.99 for a 10 yard roll!  You can’t beat that price with a stick!
I used printable lists from
organizedchristmas.com.  Once printed, they were cut and mounted onto a card stock with 2 large brads.  These would have been even more fabulous with some of the new glitter brads in the
2010-2011 Holiday Mini Catalog, but I don’t have any yet

.
I had some spare red and green envelopes from years gone by so I used them in the back pocket to hold receipts and coupons.  They don’t match Stampin’ Up!’s colors perfectly, but they’ll work in this case.
I’ll leave you with a few more pictures of the inside.  If you have any questions, just let me know.
Happy Stamping
