Lightbulb Valentine Mailbox Tin

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I have been enjoying creating in my new studio.

I adorned this mailbox tin, which I purchased for a $1, several years ago. As you can see, it does not take much effort to alter the look of any item.

Using Sticky Strip, I adhered the new Love Impressions designer paper around the mailbox. Then I attached the Pink Pirouette scallop borders on each end, which I created using the Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim Die.

I made 2 (two) of the Scalloped Heart Embosslits, and used glue dots to adhere to both sides of the flag.

Last, but not least, I tied on several pieces of Real Red and Whisper White 1/4″ Grosgrain ribbon to finish the project.

I am going to use this as the door prize at our upcoming Valentine Day card making class. You should join us – it will be FUN!

Happy Stamping
