Well, at least I think it looks kinda vintage.  This was me playing with the new letterpress plates.  This one, the
Lots of Love Letterpress Plate, was available in the Holiday Mini Catalog, but I didn’t get it until the
2011 Occasions Mini Catalog where I also picked up the
Heart Pressed Letterpress Plate.  At first, I really thought they were going to be difficult to use, but I was very wrong!  Simply ink them up with a craft ink pad, ink spot or brayer and run them through your
Big Shot.  So simple!  And the effect is astounding.  Wait til you see it just debossed and not inked – another stunning effect!
I decided to jump back to one of my favorite stamp sets from the
2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog, the
Greeting Card Kids stamp set.  The little cuties are so precious and can be colored in so many different ways.  I sponged the edges of the card stock and then used the
Log Cabin Smooch Spritz to add a little more vintage appeal to it.
I’ll have more Valentine’s Day cards to share with you this week, so keep an eye on our blog!
Happy Stamping
