Wanted to share a layout that I made recently which I CASEd from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions mini catalog. It was really fun to make and the subject matter is most certainly dear to my heart – my furbabies – Buffy and Whiskers!
Buffy is a cocker spaniel and she will be 14 years old in July. She recently lost her hearing, so her and I both have been adjusting to this new way of life. We do a lot of communicating via hand signals now. It really troubled me in the beginning and I fretted as to how she would know that I loved her, but she knows! Sometimes I catch her trying to read my lips when I am talking to her and it breaks my heart, but I am just thankful to have her with me for as long as I can.
Whiskers is a long-haired kitty and I keep him shaved with a tiger cut to keep the stray hair to a minimum. We inherited Whiskers from my son!  I tell everyone that Whiskers belongs to Buffy because you can tell they are best of friends. Whiskers has taught Buffy how to clean her feet and they used to romp and play alot. I even have had to break up their spats at times. You know that even the best of friends have disagreements sometimes.
