I figured I still had time to show you one last Valentine.  This one is actually a CASE that had a happy accident.  Last month when Ilina Crouse posted her
card, I knew I was going to have to CASE it.  Because her card was so cute already, I hadn’t planned on really changing anything – other than the pink designer paper.  She used the Pink Pirouette designer paper from the Love Impressions paper pack and I just pulled out some Pretty in Pink polka dot designer paper from the
Pawsitively Prints designer paper pack which is retired although you can still purchase it for a limited time on the
Clearance Rack.
However, once I got my card stamped and glued the stamped image to the
Pretty in Pink card stock, I realized that I had sorely misjudged the size of the
Whisper White card stock.  Hmmm.what to do?  What to do?
I didn’t want to have to start all over and waste it, so I did the next best thing – I added something to it.  I took the
2-1/2″ Circle Extra-Large Punch and punched out half of the hole on the edge of a piece of Post-it paper.  I stuck the remaining paper below my tree and sponged it using
Old Olive ink.  I think it turned out cute and am glad that I was able to change up the card just a bit from Ilina’s.  I can’t say I made it any better because hers was just too cute, but all in all, I’m happy with my little mistake!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
Happy Stamping
