Do you have green on or do I need to pinch you?  St. Patrick’s Day takes me back to school days when it never failed that I would forget to wear green and got pinched all day long.  My desperate attempts to lie and say that I had green on my underwear just never seemed to work.lol.
Anyway – today I will NOT be getting pinched.  I even have a few cards dressed for the occasion!
Side Note:  I just got a giggle because my windows are open and my neighbor just stepped out onto his porch and said to a passerby on the street, “Top O’ the mornin’ to ya – Happy St. Patrick’s Day” in his best Irish imitation.  I kept waiting for him to say, “They’re magically delicious”.LOL.
Back to the cards.  I will admit that Garden Green simply is not the color I reach for when I think of green.  I’m not sure why, but it’s just not one of my favorites.  I much prefer Old Olive although as seen here, it just doesn’t really work for St. Patty’s Day cards.  But I did try it and I guess if you didn’t see it sitting next to the other one that I used the Garden Green on, it would look fine.
This card was inspired by a few that I’ve seen coming through some Yahoo groups that I belong to.  I didn’t save the original emails, so I apologize for not giving proper credit here.  Just know that this is not my design, but I did have fun making it! Thanks for the inspiration gals!
So have a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day – and be sure to put on some green, or I may just have to pinch ya!
