I wanted to hop on here and remind you that there are only a couple more days left of
Sale-a-Bration, so this is your last chance.
Sale-a-Bration actually ends on March 31st – so get your orders in now!  The stamp I used on the card today is one of the fabulous free sets in the
Sale-a-Bration catalog – Punch Bunch.
Our
Stamp Club members will be making one similar to this as well.  I love the colors on this card even though Rose Red has really never been a favorite of mine.  I think it’s because I prefer bright or pastel colors and this is a darker color.  However, I do LOVE the seam binding ribbon and feel that this really makes this card pop.
On a side note, I do believe I was inspired by someone else for this card, but I can’t for the life of me find any notes on who it may have been.  I get inspiration for cards from everywhere, so it’s hard to trace my steps and recheck all of them.
The ruffled seam binding is a cool little technique.  You simple fray the ends of your seam binding enough so that you can separate the horizontal threads.  Then, pull on a couple of the center threads and the edges just ruffle up, just like magic!
Happy Stamping
