I saw a fabulous card by Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek that inspired me to create these cards.  I pretty much CASEd her card completely other than I used a different butterfly from the
Beautiful Butterflies Die and added an additional one below it to give it a little more distinction and make it pop.  I didn’t have the Rhinestones that she used so I used some gems that I had in my stash.  You can see her card
here.
Of course, since the butterflies hang over the edge of the card, you would either need a larger envelope to mail it or simply hand it to the person.  I like the latter because it’s so personal.
I made two of these cards – I changed up the sentiment on the second one.  I think I like the way Thank You fit on the card a little better than the Happy Birthday.  Maybe I should have tilted the Happy Birthday sentiment to where it looked more like it was wrapping around the doily.  Hmmm.not sure.  What do you think?  How would you change up this card?  I know you could easily alter up the colors, but what else would you do?  I love the format and am just looking for some additional ideas.
Here’s a better shot to show you the dimension that this card has.  I used
Dimensionals in between the wings to make sure that they don’t flatten out.  The center is glued directly to the layers below it though.
