Get Well cards, friendship cards, hello cards, just because cards, baby cards and would love to do the mystery card again (I think that is what it was called).....the one where you send the pieces and we make a card.

I think I prefer the more generic ones...birthday, thank you, get well, sender's choice, etc. When we get too specific, I have a hard time coming up with something - must be the newbie in me...LOL.

Brenda,

I loved the Mystery Card, as well. Maybe we could do that one more than once and each of us could take a turn at sending out materials and getting the person we send to. I think you sent the name and address or something like that. I can't remember totally.

Secondly, I have some ideas for Invitations: Pool Party, Texas Hold 'em Party, Birthday Party, Block Party, and don't have my hands on the stuff right now about the last one.

Also, have an idea for an insert that could be put into a kid's card, elementary age, that could be a card about having a great summer. The insert is for making a special envelope and inside the envelope are strips that give suggestions of things the child can do during the summer if can't think of something. If we would do this card and insert, I could provide the list.

Lastly, I have not forgotten about an order in August. We are having our house replumbed, all new plumbing put in, after our flood of our house two years ago and found out it was due to the piping that was used when the house was built. So, it is hard to put my hands on things easily. It may take me a little bit of time, but I will get done.

I do want to let you know that I have been using the Stampin Up Rub ons on cards and a few other things and I can honestly say they are the best quality rub ons I have used so far of the rub ons I have used. I hope that Stampin Up continue to expand their rub on collection.

This is a hodge podge note, but I am going to put it in this thread as my e-mail started out about stuff that fit here.

Thank you for all you did to help me get my cards into the gallery. The e-mail you sent, my computer does not recognize the program. So, I am going to try to get to it through this site and see what happens. If can't get it here I will send you a note and let you know.

Thanks for all you do to make people feel welcome, to feel special, and to feel a part of a community.

Love,

Barb

P.S. I am trying to think about a swap I might want to host this next year for this group. Does it necessarily have to be cards? I am thinking it might be fun to make a set of small gift cards that could be used on packages, That's one idea. However, I want to think a little bit more before I commit and I would like your feedback.

How about if we got a chance to make the tini boxs/bags just a couple in the upcoming Holiday so we can give to our friends, co-workers, church buds. etc. Just send a pattern online or along with cards and we make them lay them flat and mail them to our swapper? Just an idea?

I know that we are mainly cards here, but I was thinking(this is dangerous)...that bag toppers would be something fun to do with maybe a matching small note card.

Bag Toppers can really be made with any theme! Weddings, Anniversaries, Christmas, Easter or Birthdays....and if you wanted to get really creative in giving a gift...Back to School and Graduation!

OK ladies....I worked on the 2010 swaps last night and came up with a good mixture of themes - hope that you will be pleased. I also added a bunch of new themes - so, we will definitely cover more themes next year.

If anyone wants me to add an additional theme, please let me know.

Also, if you want to be the hostess for any type of swap, let me know and I will help you get it set up.

I will be posting the January swaps in a few days.

Brenda
