Hostess for this CARDScraps' Card Art Swap: Brenda Cook

Size of Cards: Normally, 4.25” x 5.5” – can be landscape or portrait. If you wish to create a card that is larger than this, please be sure to include an appropriately sized matching envelope.

Envelopes: You do not need to send an envelope if your completed card measures 4.25” x 5.5” – larger cards will require an appropriately sized matching envelope.

Number of Cards participants are required to make: 1 (one)

Mail destination: North Carolina

1. You will be notified of the hostess’ mailing address, via email.

2. Create 1 (one) card using traditional supplies only or traditional supplies and digital backgrounds or elements. You will receive 1 (one) card back from the swap.

3. Don’t write on the inside of the card…that way the recipient can personalize it.

4. Scan your Card Art, because you are going to need this later.

5. When you mail your cards to the Hostess, this is what you need to include in your envelope:

* The card you are swapping and appropriately sized envelope if over 4.25” x 5.5”
* A self-addressed stamped envelope if you live in the US. If you live outside of the US, you will need to send a self-addressed envelope and $1 US to cover the return postage. Use an oversized envelope. Suggested size to use is approx. 6 inches by 9.5 inches, which the USPS recognizes as letter sized mail, thus less postage cost.
* A list of supplies you used in your cards. Credit for digital backgrounds or elements.

6. Once your card is in the mail, then you will post in the applicable forum thread that it is on the way and the date mailed. Do not post the image until after the hostess notifies you to do so.

7. Once the hostess receives all the cards, she will swap them out and send them out to the participants in the envelopes provided. You will also be notified in the applicable forum thread that you may post your card image in the Card Art gallery.

8. When participants receive their cards, they should post in the forum thread that they have been received.

I'm in on this one too! I've got my card ready and will be mailing when I get a few more done. I think for now, it's best that I get the card done and then sign up just in case I get in a jam and can't get it done on time...LOL. Yes, I'm a card newbie!

Can't wait to start getting some of the cards you gals have made! I ooh and aah over them when I'm at Brenda's - especially when I'm there and new ones start coming in!
