Number of Cards participants are required to make: 5 + 1
Mail destination: see above under "Hostess."
1. The hostess will retain one card from each participant.
2. You will receive 1 (one) card back from the swap.
3. Don’t write on the inside of the card…that way the recipient can personalize it, if they wish.
4. Please do your very best work and create a top-notch card. This means that the images should be nicely stamped, no smudges, straight cut paper and neatly layered elements and embellishments that are affixed securely.
5. Scan or photograph your Card Art, because you should post it in the card art gallery at http://www.cardscraps.com/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/510. Be sure to denote the card ID code info in your keywords. If you need to know how to post to the gallery, you can go to our Resources section and find the tutorial on Posting to the Gallery and also Resizing Your Photo.
6. When you mail your card(s) to the Hostess, this is what you need to include in your envelope:
**The card you are swapping and appropriately sized envelope if over/under 4.25” x 5.5”
**A self-addressed stamped envelope if you live in the US. If you live outside of the US, you will need to send a self-addressed envelope and $2 US to cover the return postage. Use an oversized envelope. Suggested size to use is approx. 6 inches by 9.5 inches, which the USPS recognizes as letter sized mail, thus less postage cost.
**A list of supplies you used in your cards. Credit for digital backgrounds or elements. Be sure to denote which swap your card is for.
7. Once your card is in the mail, then you will post in the applicable forum thread ( Card Swaps - Card Scraps Forums ) that it is on the way and the date mailed.
8. Within two days of the deadline, the hostess will swap them out and send them out to the participants in the envelopes provided. You will also be notified in the applicable forum thread that the swaps have gone out.
Now that you have read all the details….who wants to make some cards and swap with other CARDScraps members?
If you have any questions, please post them in this thread.
Happy Cardmaking!
