Default Stamped Image Swap - February 2009

Hi Everyone,

Here is February's stamped image swap. If there is anything in the instructions that you need explained, just post your questions here in this thread.

Signup Deadline: 2/17/09
Mailing Deadline: 2/28/09

Theme: Child/Baby

Hostess: Sue Bond (Canada)

If you would like to Join in this Swap:

Sign up here in this thread.

Your choice of at least 3 different Child/Baby stamps to be imprinted in black ink on white or cream cardstock. You can do more than 3 stamps if you wish.

Neatly cut each stamped image into a square or rectangle to fit the image.

Stamped images need to be no smaller than 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches and no larger than 4 x 4 inches.

Image should be able to stand alone...image should be able to be used on its own and not need to be part of a multi-stamped image.

Send in 7 copies of each image.

Please choose quality images to send.

Pick images that you would use on your cards!

As soon as you decide which stamps you will be using, send me a detailed description with size and manufacture (if known). This will help keep a variety of images.

I will post the descriptions here so that everyone will know who is sending which images.

I will send out an e-mail to each participants with my mailing address. Anyone living outside of Canada will need to send money to cover the return postage + self addressed envelope. You will need to send postage money equal to whatever it cost you to send the envelope to me. Anyone living in Canada can send a self-addressed stamped envelope.

I will swap out the images once I have them all.

Participants are asked to post here when they receive their images.

Anyone just starting out and doesn't have 3 different stamps...let me know, I sold SU for 3 years and I have 300+ stamps (SU and others). I can stamp some images for you.

Hi Ilona,
Is that one stamp or 2?
You will need a total of 3 stamps, so let me know when you choose them. If you don't have 3 different stamps I have many many stamps (I sold SU for 3 years), so I can stamp some for you.

Thanks.

These are 2 stamps, acrylic new ones I got. But I have a box with wood stamps somewhere, so I'll have a look at those too.

Just found out I need a new black stamp-pad... it still stamps good with my rubber stamps, but terrible with my acrylic...what would cause the difference, anybody of you guys know?

Additionally to the giraffe and text I have a clown with balloons, a cat and a little bird.
The little bird is approx. 3/4 x 3/4 inch... can I still send it in, perhaps if I stamp a group of three or something?

Hi Ilona,
I don't know why the stamping would be different between rubber and acrylic stamps.

Yes, you can stamp a group of them if you wish.
Thanks.

I only use Stampin' Up's black when using black as it will not smear when using chalks, water color pencils etc. Works fine on my acrylics...I buy the refill and refill it every s often too.

Sorry for giving this piece of advice in this thread...

Brenda, did you think you were in the January swap when you posted flowers?...lol

Sue, I am taking you up on your offer, as I have absolutely no baby stamps!

So that means that I desperately need to be in this swap. LOL

So, Sue is going to prepare mine - ain't she sweet?
