I have found that vellum can be a pain if you don't have the right adhesive. I hate it when I have something really pretty, put it on my card or layout and the adhesive can be seen through it! I usually use an adhesive tape runner of some kind when I work with traditional cards and scrapbooking pages.

My solution to this is Scotch Vellum Tape. It comes in an 11 yard roll. Simply cut a piece the length that you need, place the sticky side to the back of the vellum and rub with a coin. When you take the paper side off, you have an adhesive on the back of you velum that will not show through when you place the vellum on your card, tag or layout!

I usually purchase mine at Walmart!

Hmm, will check for that. I love vellum and at one time bought what was vellum adhisive tape but it turned yellow and looked awful. I have had some success with spray but if there is now a tape I'm checking for it.

I find that if I use very tiny dots (sparingly) of Tombow Multi Adhesive, it dries quite clear and is not seen! Of course too much glue will dry visible.

Most often, I secure vellum by cutting it 1/8" to 1/4" larger than the piece I plan to secure it to.. scoring and bone folding at that measurement, and tucking beneath the piece I'm adhering it to allows it to lay flat without any additional adhesive!
